The original artist proof of this print is held in the Frost Museum's permanent collection. The Frost Museum is a Smithsonian affiliated museum located in Miami,Florida. This is the second print numbered #2 in a series of 10 limited edition photographs. This photograph is 5x7 feet ( 60 x 84 inches) Durst Lamdba Photographic print on Kodak Metallic Paper. For longevity, it is UV laminated and a canvas floater style black wooden frame. The frame is custom made by the official framer for Art Basel Miami, James Bier and the piece is museum archive quality. Collectors may also inquire about a limited number of smaller versions approximately 26x39 inches ( photo size) that are also still available in this limited edition series. The photo was shot capturing the last rays of the day's sun hitting a lonely seagull basking in the sun on Miami Beach.
Mercer Clark has been influenced by the Miami Art Deco Scene and now lives in Palm Springs, California. Many of his works reflect the Art Deco Color palette and are very bright and cheerful. Renown for his scenic landscapes and florals, Gary has a unique take on the Miami Beach Art Deco scene and also produces images in sepia tone black and white in his unique Everglades series.
